***What does the Stage 1 ECU Tune provide? The Stage 1 Tune provides a 4% increase in horsepower, and a 4% increase in torque on pump fuel, it enhances lower and mid RPM drivability as the bucking/jerking inherent in the factory tune has been eliminated, the ABS/DTC intervention is less aggressive allowing more experienced riders to shave seconds off of their lap times, ignition timing can be adjusted for almost any fuel, full throttle limiters have been removed, engine braking corrections have been made for all rider modes, flat spots have been removed from the entire RPM range, speed and rev-limiters have been adjusted for maximum power, corrections have been made to the Lambda limiters, corrections have been made to the throttle valves, adaptation to race fuels, the “fan-on” temperature has been decreased to help the bike run cooler, the idle speed has been adjusted to prevent warm-up stalling, the Quick-Shifter “kill times” have been reduced to provide faster shifting, the torque model has been reshaped to provide more power throughout the entire RPM range (part or full throttle), and the tune includes all Race ECU and ridability quirks.
