Night Auditor
Night Auditor The night auditor is responsible for overseeing the hotel's overnight operations, including reconciling daily transactions, generating reports, and ensuring guest satisfaction during late-night hours. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent numerical skills, and the ability to handle guest inquiries and issues effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Perform nightly audits of the hotel's financial transactions, including room charges, cash transactions, and credit card payments. • Reconcile daily revenue and expenses, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all records. • Generate daily reports on occupancy, revenue, and other key metrics for management review. • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints that arise during the night shift. • Monitor security cameras and ensure the safety and security of guests and hotel property. • Process late check-ins and early check-outs, ensuring proper billing and room allocation. • Assist with overnight housekeeping and maintenance tasks as needed. • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations during the night shift. • Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to hotel policies and procedures. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management or related field preferred. • Previous experience in a hotel front desk or night audit role preferred. • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite. • Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
