Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will assist in day-to-day accounting functions including data entry, invoice processing, payment tracking, and maintaining financial records.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with daily accounting data entry and documentation Match purchase orders, delivery orders, and invoices Prepare and update payment vouchers, petty cash, and receipts Monitor accounts payable and receivable and flag any discrepancies Assist in monthly bank reconciliations Support in preparation of basic reports (e.g. aging reports, payment summaries) Help maintain an organized and up-to-date filing system for all financial documents Assist during month-end closing processes Liaise with vendors, suppliers, or customers on documentation matters Perform other administrative and accounting-related duties as assigned
Requirements: Minimum Diploma in Accounting or equivalent 1-2 year of related working experience (fresh graduates will be considered) Familiarity with accounting software Xero is an advantage Good attention to detail and accuracy Able to work independently and under supervision Willingness to learn and support the team.
