Design & Video Team Leader

Job Summary: The Design Team Leader who is both a skilled creative professional and an effective team leader. This role combines hands-on work in graphic design and video editing with leadership responsibilities. You will actively contribute to the creation of visual content while guiding a team of designers and video editors to produce high-quality, on-brand creative assets. Key Responsibilities:
Hands-On Creative Work (60–70%): • Design a wide range of visual materials such as social media graphics, promotional banners, presentations, and marketing collateral. • Edit and produce engaging videos for digital campaigns, social media, events, and internal communication. • Ensure all designs and videos follow brand guidelines, are visually appealing, and align with campaign objectives. • Collaborate with content, marketing, and product teams to bring ideas to life. Team Leadership (30–40%): • Lead and mentor a team of graphic designers and video editors. • Allocate tasks and manage timelines to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery. • Review and provide feedback on team members’ work to maintain high creative standards. • Facilitate regular check-ins, brainstorming sessions, and creative reviews. • Identify training needs and help team members grow their skills Project & Process Management: • Act as a point of contact between the design team and other departments. • Help prioritize tasks and manage project timelines and resources. • Contribute to process improvements that increase creative output and efficiency. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Visual Communication, or a related field. • 4+ years of experience in graphic design and video editing, with at least 1–2 years in a team coordination or leadership capacity. • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro). • Strong portfolio demonstrating both design and video editing capabilities. • Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and storytelling ability. • Strong communication and time management skills.
