We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations, ensure the accuracy of financial records, and support strategic financial planning. This role requires a thorough understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and leadership ability to guide junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting activities including journal entries, general ledger, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
Lead the month-end and year-end close processes.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax filings (GST, VAT, income tax, etc.).
Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management for business decisions.
Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, reviewing their work and providing training when needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
Professional certification such as CA, CPA, ACCA is strongly preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Tally).
Strong understanding of accounting regulations and standards.
Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
