I. Key Responsibilities - Financial Reporting: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Reconciliation: Reconciling bank accounts and general ledger entries to ensure accuracy. - Compliance & Tax: Computing taxes, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. - Accounts Payable/Receivable: Managing incoming and outgoing payments. - Auditing & Analysis: Inspecting account books for efficiency, identifying risks, and analyzing financial data to improve performance. - Budgeting: Assisting in budgeting and forecasting future financial trends. II. Required Skills and Qualifications - Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel skills. - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field. - Certification: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification is often preferred or required. - Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex financial data. - Communication: Ability to explain financial information to non-financial staff. Working day: Monday to Saturday (8:30-12:00pm) and (1:00-5:30pm)
