JOB SUMMARY The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the accounting operations across multiple trading-related businesses under the same ownership. This role requires strong leadership, solid technical accounting skills, and the ability to coordinate financial activities across various business units. The Accounting Manager will ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting and play a critical role in strategic financial planning and compliance. JOB DESCRIPTION - Oversee and manage the daily accounting operations. - Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Prepare consolidated financial reports for all business units. - Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements for management. - Lead the annual budgeting process for the company. - Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis. - Support business planning and decision-making with financial insights and forecasts. - Develop and implement effective internal controls and accounting processes. - Standardize financial procedures across company to improve accuracy and efficiency. - Recommend and implement improvements in accounting systems and practices. - Lead and supervise accounting staff across all business units. - Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure team development. - Coordinate accounting tasks with different departments to ensure smooth operations. - Monitor daily cash flow and working capital management across all businesses. - Assist in financial planning for investments, expansion, and business development. - Maintain banking relationships and manage financing arrangements if necessary. REQUIREMENT - Bachelor / Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA is a plus). - Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, and compliance regulations. - Experience in managing the finances of multiple companies is highly preferred. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, or systems). - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. - High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
