Antique Khmer Buddha Figure Cambodia, early 19th century (circa 1800) A cast Khmer Buddha figure depicted seated in a meditative posture, wearing a tiered headdress and adorned with a textured, beaded torso. The figure exhibits traditional Cambodian stylistic elements, including a serene facial expression and symmetrical composition. Surface shows a well-developed aged patina with areas of encrustation, along with visible wear, losses, and corrosion consistent with age and possible burial or long-term environmental exposure. Condition: Noticeable surface wear, losses to lower extremities, and structural degradation; consistent with age. Provenance: Private collection. Comparable Cambodian Buddha sculptures of the 19th century have achieved auction and private sale results ranging from approximately $2,500 to over $6,000, depending on size, material, and condition.
