Responsibilities:

• Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization;
• Undertakes data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources;
• Secures network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access;
• Supports and administers firewall environments in line with IT security policy;
• Reports network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects;
• Upgrades networking equipment data to the latest stable firmware releases;
• Configures routing and switching equipment;
• Configures hosted IP voice services;
• Basically configures firewalls;
• Remotes support on-site engineers and end users during installation;
• Remotes troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation;
• Manages capacity and audits IP addressing and hosted devices within data centers;
• Liaises with project management teams, third-line engineers and service desk engineers on a regular basis;
• Communicate with users via email and phone for initial requirement capture;
• Performs other tasks as assigned by superior.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree of Computer Science /Information Technology.
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in related field.
- An up-to-date knowledge and understanding of organization's business and industry needs, as well as the technical demands.
- Good at communication and problem-solving.
