The Korean International School of Phnom Penh(KISPP) is Korean school to be officially recognized and supported by The Ministry of Education of The Republic of Korea, who provides continued education based on the Korean curriculum.
*Job Description
We are looking for ambitious, positive and energetic teacher who is willing to work and grow together as a team. The school has students grade 1-6. We have students from either Korean or Korean-Cambodian family.
*Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Regular ESL class
• Immersion English class program
• English Project Class
• 2 weeks of camp during the school vacation
• Prepare documents and lesson plans following the school requirement
• Prepare report cards at the end of the semester and conduct parent teacher meeting per school schedule
• Make sure that student learning is up to the school expectation
• Make sure that students are safe, loved and cared during their stay at school
• Participate the school events and meetings
• Be able to work peacefully with team members and students from different cultural backgrounds.
• Demonstrate understanding of and love for young children and enthusiasm developing happy, creative atmosphere the children
• Prepare implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help
• Creating education resources /preparation for class /making lesson plan
*Minimum Educational Level Required
• Must a native English speaker
• Bachelor's Degree
*Preference
• Education degrees
• At least 1 year educational job experience
• valid Teaching Certificate (TESOL/TEFL/CELTA)
*Other Requirements
• Valid passport visa(No tourist visa)
*Job Conditions
• Salary : $1700 before tax
• The cost for visa extension and work permit provided
• Full time (8 hours/day, 5 days/week)
• Contract : 13th May 2024 ~ 28th February 2025
(Can be renewed yearly after)
• Teaching Online when it needed

JOB DESCRIPTION: - Organize and assist to implement student orientation grade and registration activities related to English placement test - Cooperate with other team members to assist in the development in establishment of school goals and objectives and the planning of the school English program. - Coordinate General English Program - Create and maintain project documentation, such as meeting minutes, agendas, risks, issue, and change control procedure and log - Work with key team members in planning and developing English program/project work plans. - Create training and workshop for English teachers - Substitute classes when teachers are absent - Develop outstanding reputation and outcome for the school - Ensure integrity/honesty to the school - Ensure good working productivity and improve quality of the school - Provide direction of staff and teachers in implementing goals and objectives - Check teacher’s lesson plans - Observe teachers and give feedback - Assist and disseminate information about school’s disciplinary policies and procedure to parents, children and the community - Supervise and maintain services and use of resources to supplement the school program - Display the highest ethical and professional behaviour and standards when working with children, teachers and parents - Serve as a role model for children, teachers and staff - Develop clearly understood procedure and provide regular drills to comply with the administration policies Requirement: - At Least hold a Bachelor Degree in Education or related field - At least 3-year experience with Education Management -Male/Female, age 25-45 - Be a team player - Manage to do multi-tasks - Good interpersonal skills - Computer Application (Microsoft Office,Powerpoint...)
