PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION (Purpose of Job)
The General Manager is responsible for supervising the operations of all departments within the company.
This role involves developing and executing FOT's strategic plan, as well as overseeing various aspects such as operations, revenue cycle management, financial matters, sales and marketing, human resources, and the overall company system.

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES (Major Duties and Responsibilities)

1. Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy that encompasses sales growth, increased profitability, and expanded market share within the eyewear retail sector.
- Conduct thorough market analysis, studying consumer behavior and competitor activities to identify opportunities for strategic positioning and market differentiation.
- Set ambitious achievable business objectives in alignment with the overall company vision and goals.
2. Operational Excellence:
- Oversee day-to-day retail operations, ensuring seamless performance, efficiency, and compliance with stringent company standards.
- Implement industry best practices in inventory management, supply chain logistics, and operational workflows to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts.
- Monitor, analyze, and take corrective actions based on key performance indicators to ensure continuous operational excellence.

3. Customer Experience and Satisfaction:
- Foster a culture of customer-centricity across all retail outlets, ensuring a consistently exceptional and personalized shopping experience.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
- Address customer feedback and complaints promptly, championing a commitment to continuous improvement in service delivery.

4. Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing retail team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching and professional development opportunities.
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, teamwork, and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, sales performance and growth.
5. Sales and Marketing:
- Develop and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies to drive foot traffic, increase conversion rates, and maximize sales revenue.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to plan and implement engaging promotional campaigns, product launches, and special events.
- Continuously monitor sales trends and consumer behavior, adapting strategies to align with market dynamics.

6. Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the annual budget for the retail business, ensuring financial targets are met and exceeded.
- Analyze and interpret financial reports, identifying areas for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
- Implement targeted strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets, gross margins, and overall profitability.

7. Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with eyewear suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring a consistent supply of high-quality products.
- Evaluate and select new suppliers to diversify the product range and enhance competitiveness in the market.
- Monitor and assess supplier performance, proactively addressing any issues to maintain optimal product availability and quality.

8. Other tasks as assigned by the Board of Directors.
