PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION (Purpose of Job)

The Group Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our group of companies. With a comprehensive scope, the Group Finance Manager will oversee all financial issues, ensuring effective budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting. Their responsibilities extend beyond individual entities to encompass the broader financial success and sustainability of our business portfolio within the group.

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
- Develop accurate and insightful financial forecasts, considering market trends, product lifecycles, and economic factors.
- Monitor budget performance and variances, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Drive discussions and decision-making around resource allocation and financial targets during the budgeting cycle.

3. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, financial trends, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in all financial reporting.
- Customize reports to highlight areas for improvement and support strategic decision-making.
- Communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders, fostering a comprehensive understanding of financial performance.

4.Cost Control and Expense Management:
- Implement strategic cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency.
- Analyze and manage expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising product quality.
- Work collaboratively with operational teams to streamline processes and enhance cost-effectiveness.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement in cost management practices, identifying and implementing efficiencies.

5. Strategic Financial Planning:
- Provide valuable financial insights and recommendations to support strategic planning.
- Collaborate with executive leadership in evaluating potential investments, partnerships, and expansion opportunities.

6. Cash Flow Management:
-Manage cash flow, ensuring liquidity and efficient working capital management.
- Implement strategies to maintain optimal cash reserves and respond to evolving financial needs.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks and uncertainties, ensuring stability in cash flow management.
- Anticipate and address potential challenges in cash flow proactively.

7. Financial Compliance:
- Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Work closely with auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring a smooth audit process.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments to ensure ongoing compliance.
