- Assist the set-up process of the company & operations (operational processes, policies & procedures, Standard Operating Procedure’s, staff recruitment, training, selection of suppliers, local regulatory requirements..etc).
- Develop & Execute the Business Plan/Budgets/Balanced Score Card.
- Develop Sales & Marketing efforts (including new client prospecting, develop suitable proposals for new customers) for the company to achieve revenue growth.
- Develop all key suppliers to ensure company performance targets are met.
- Develop the key anchor client relationship through value added initiatives, innovative logistics solutions.
- Provide guidance & direction for transportation solutions to customers & internal productivity/quality improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance in Environment, Health and Safety, Financial, Systems & Controls
- Set targets (covering all Balanced Score Card areas) & performance evaluation of same on regular basis ensuring continual improvement.
- Motivate, Direct & Develop the team to achieve their goals & targets.
- Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolve problems.
- Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOP) for Intercon Transportation Service.
- Ensure staff follows standard operating procedures for all operational functions.
- Coordinates activities that affect operational decisions and business requirements.
- Analyze data to inform operational decisions or activities.
- Keep track of staffing requirements, hire and train new talent as needed to correspond with specific duties and skill sets
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Plans, schedules, and reviews workload and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis.
- Work with the senior managements to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
- Support employee communication with the management team.
- Communicate customer issues with staff and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints.
- Manage work assignment and allocation for staff.
- Prepare budget plan.
- Monitor and control expense according to allotted budget.
- Review daily and monthly sale and Sale return reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely stock counts, carried out according to the operation procedure
- Supervises and coordinates activities of staff concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping material, and supplies in stockroom, or warehouse.
- Plans layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored.
- Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels.
- Schedules work for special and periodic inventories.
- Do round and conducts surprise stock count.
- Other assigned tasks.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree of Management/Business or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional work experience in the respective fields.
- Knowledge of product selection, inventory control, and purchasing practices.
- Experience in management, operations, and leadership.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees
