1. Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment in and around the Palace Gate Hotel & Residences
2. Maintain accurate records regarding routine inspections of all mechanical equipment, safe handling procedures of chemicals, and daily work/project logs.
3. Performing preventative maintenance.
4. Handling basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
5. Overseeing the vendor, suppliers or contractors when have the repairs work are necessary.
6. Assist and support, develop and implement plans to keep the Palace Gate Hotel & Residences’ property, equipment, and grounds in a good state of repair and working order.
7. To liaise with the Maintenance &M&E technicians regularly to ensure sufficient service is always maintained.
8. Carry out a variety of planned and reactive hotel maintenance tasks, which will be varied in nature and will include general building defects, joinery, tiling, painting, electrical works, AC work, drainage works and plumbing.
9. Undertake general facilities support tasks, including furniture hotel and furniture removals, grounds and site clearance, and keeping areas clean and tidy generally.
10. Handle on all Maintenance’s tasks is required in the Palace Gate Hotel & Residences.
11. Provide the Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly report on effectiveness of maintenance operations
12. Adhere to Health and Safety regulation, fire prevention programs and train employees as required.
13. Support the maintenance/repair of air conditioner’s equipment.
14. Guides various internal committees on all hotel and facility related inquire.
15. Provide excellent customer service to guests
16. Be punctual for work and adhere to grooming and appearance standards
17. Be present at all training session and daily briefing
18. Follow schedule and instruction of the direct manager

• Work experience as General Maintenance or similar role
• Flexible work hours
• Ability to remain calm and professional with difficult customers
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Degree in hotel management is a plus
• A Friendly and welcoming approach
