- Regularly ensure compliance of all raw materials, in process and finished goods.
- Assist in the start of processing operations in conjunction with production department
- Following, monitoring, and verifying compliance of SOPs
- Communicate product quality issues to management
- Conduct timely root cause analysis and enforce improvements to process controls
- Responsible for monitoring and programing critical control points (CCP)
- Responsible for monitoring food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process
- Responsible for performing sanitation verification and microbiological testing on equipment and other areas required
- Responsible for the control recording and filing of all relevant record logs and Documentation
- Ensures the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing
- Ensures employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices
- Ensures and educates employees on food safety and relevant courses
- Collect product samples for Product Development, lab retains and the laboratory
- Perform inspections on Products, Equipment and Machinery
- Perform other duties assigned by technologic supervisor
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor degree on Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or related fields preferred
- 1+ years of food safety management system (GMP and HACCP) experience preferred
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with all MS Office
- Mathematics skills is a plus
- Good attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Excellent organization skills, and abilities to make decisions on quality issues
