Reports to: Lead Architect / Project Director
Key Responsibilities
• Production Management: Lead the production of detailed Construction. Design exterior and interior, meeting with Client resolve all problem with drawing and construction team.
• Documentation (CD) sets, including floor plans, sections, elevations, and complex joinery details.
• Technical Coordination: Coordinate architectural plans with Structural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings to identify and resolve "clashes" before construction begins.
• Material Specification: Research and select building materials, finishes, and fixtures. Prepare detailed schedules (Door/Window schedules, Finish schedules) that align with the project budget.
• Site Quality Control: Perform regular site inspections to ensure the contractor's work meets the design specifications and quality standards. Review and approve Shop Drawings and Material Submittals.
• Problem Solving: Address Requests for Information (RFIs) from the site team and provide quick, buildable solutions to unforeseen structural or site issues.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
- Criteria: Specification
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit (BIM). Knowledge of 3ds Max/Lumion, D5, Enscape, for quick internal visualizations.
- Local Expertise: Strong knowledge of Cambodian construction techniques, soil conditions, and the local supply chain for materials (e.g., steel, glass, and specialized finishes).
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong leadership for mentoring junior draftsmen, and a "solutions-oriented" mindset.
- Communication: Fluency in Khmer and professional-level English.
