** Key Responsibilities ** • Review and organize raw footage: • Assemble, transfer, and organize video clips, audio, and other media from shoots. • Edit and sequence content: • Trim clips, combine shots, maintain continuity, and build a logical narrative flow, rough cut to final cut. • Enhance visuals and audio: • Apply color correction/grading, transitions, effects, graphics, animations, titles, and sound design, music, voiceovers, sound effects. • Collaborate with the team: • Meet with directors, producers, or PM to understand the vision incorporate feedback throughout the process. • Ensure technical quality: • Check for errors, pacing, timing, and compliance with broadcast or platform standards resolution, aspect ratio, codecs. Additional tasks: • Shoot footage, if combined with Videographer duties. • Create storyboards or shot lists. • Handle motion graphics or basic VFX. • Work under tight deadlines especially in news or social media. **Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Skills: ** • Proficiency in editing software: • Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Avid Media Composer. • Knowledge of After Effects, motion graphics, Photoshop, color grading tools. • Understanding of video formats, codecs, resolutions, and post-production workflows. • Audio editing and mixing basics. ** Creative & Soft Skills ** • Strong storytelling and narrative sense. • Attention to detail, creativity, and aesthetic judgment. • Ability to work collaboratively and take direction. • Time management under pressure.
