The Accounting Supervisor (Auto Parts) is responsible for overseeing financial transactions, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards specific to the auto parts industry. This role involves supervising a team, monitoring inventory costs, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports to support business operations. I. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Management & Reporting • Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. • Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports. • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, financial policies, and industry standards. • Reconcile inventory accounts and monitor cost fluctuations in auto parts pricing. 2. Inventory & Cost Control • Work closely with the procurement and sales teams to track auto parts inventory costs and ensure accurate valuation. • Monitor pricing strategies and ensure proper cost allocation for parts sold and in stock. • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning related to inventory and sales. 3. Supervision & Team Leadership • Lead and support a team of accountants or finance staff, ensuring efficient workflow and accuracy in reporting. • Provide training and guidance to junior accountants on accounting procedures and financial software. 4. Audit & Compliance • Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary financial documents. • Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and company policies. • Identify areas for process improvement and implement best accounting practices. II. Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the auto parts industry. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, inventory management, and financial reporting. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems). • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
