Your typical duties as a (Supervisor Quantity Surveyor), will generally include the following:

1. Site Preparation & Landside Works (In house construction work)
-Review the budget and prepare the BOQ of work executed.
-Review and calculate the BOQ of work items for cost comparison with sub-contractors.
-Review the IPC claim for submission to the consultant.
-Prepare the VO works (if any) for submission to the consultant for approval.
2. Cut, Fill and Surcharge for Airfield Works (In house construction work)
-Review the weekly progress work done for submission to the consultant.
-Review the monthly IPC claim for submission to the consultant.
-Prepare the VO works (if any) for submission to the consultant for approval.
3. Ancillary Building Works (In house construction work)
-Review the budget estimation for a project in order to monitor whether the actual works carried out have stayed on the budget.
-Review the BOQ of work executed for submission to the consultant for approval.
-Review the weekly progress work done for submission to the consultant.
-Review the monthly IPC claim for submission to the consultant.
-Prepare the VO works (if any) for submission to the consultant for approval.
4. Passenger Terminal Building (Main Contractor & NSC)
-Review and evaluate the IPC Claim for Main Contractor & NSC
-Review and evaluate the VE and VO works for Main Contractor & NSC
-Control and monitor the deviation status for Main Contractor & NSC in order to catch up on any items which are cost-saving for the project.
-Prepare damage report caused by Main Contractor & NSC to CAIC (if any) and calculate the cost to recover the work and will be charged to Main Contractor & NSC.
5. Other Works
-Calculate the cost breakdown of work items
-Calculate the cost estimation (BOQ) of work items for cost comparison with sub-contractors.
-Review and evaluate the sub-contractor cost submission.
-Cash Flow Projection
-Other works assigned by the team leader
