Key Responsibilities: Collection Management: Acquire, catalog, classify, and maintain library materials (books, e-resources, journals, etc.). Evaluate and update collections based on user needs and relevance. User Support: Assist patrons in locating resources and using library systems (OPAC, databases, etc.). Provide research support and information literacy training. Administrative Duties: Oversee library operations, including circulation, inventory, and interlibrary loans. Maintain records, generate reports, and manage budgets for resource procurement. Technology & Systems: Manage digital resources (e-books, online databases) and library software. Troubleshoot technical issues related to library systems. Promotion & Outreach: Organize events (book clubs, reading programs, workshops). Collaborate with educational institutions or community groups. Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to copyright laws, data privacy, and institutional policies.
