Job Purpose:
To support the daily operations of the food import and distribution business by coordinating logistics, managing inventory records, preparing operational reports, and ensuring smooth communication across departments to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and monitor daily import, delivery, and distribution activities.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing shipping and delivery documents (e.g., invoices, packing lists, customs clearance).
• Maintain and update inventory records in the system; flag discrepancies to the operations or warehouse team.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
• Monitor and track delivery schedules and assist with route planning for efficient logistics.
• Support the preparation of operational reports including stock movement, order fulfillment rates, and delivery performance.
• Support the Assistant Warehouse Manager in handling administrative tasks such as expense reporting, purchase orders, and stakeholder records.
• Coordinate maintenance of warehouse equipment and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Provide general administrative support to the operations team as required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or operations role, preferably in food import/distribution.
• Good understanding of supply chain and logistics processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and inventory management software.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is a plus.
• Team player with a proactive attitude.
