Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Job Summary:
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) leads a sales team within a specified region to achieve revenue targets. This role involves developing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and tracking performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth in the assigned area.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives, setting performance expectations and conducting reviews.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Customer Management: Build and maintain relationships with key clients and address customer issues.
- Reporting: Prepare sales reports for management and analyze data to enhance performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven sales management experience, preferably in retail.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
