Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the transportation and delivery of goods to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers regarding shipment schedules and status.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.
• Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory records and update logistics databases.
• Assist in planning and optimizing routes and transportation methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as procurement, warehouse, and finance to support overall supply chain operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and promptly address inquiries related to logistics.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software or ERP systems.
• Detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and documentation is a bonus.
