• Research and evaluate potential vendors, negotiate contract terms, and maintain good relationships with key suppliers. • Find new vendors to diversify options and improve pricing and quality. • Ensure Master Data and purchasing parameters are correct, manage non-conforming materials, and support innovative ways to improve procurement processes. • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses, and maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices. • Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure proper storage and timely delivery of products to effectively manage inventory. • Ensure adherence to purchasing policies and procedures, and escalate any supplier issues to the Procurement Manager • Control the procurement budget and promote cost-saving initiatives. • Track and report on the arrival of goods to the receiving team. • Conduct regular performance reviews and address any issues or concerns. • Prepare detailed reports on procurement activities and performance metrics • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices. • Collaborating with other departments to meet current and future inventory requirements and managing inventory levels. • Performing purchasing forecast by taking into accounts the relevant sales and production forecasts before placing purchase orders to vendors. • Keeping track on the whole process of purchasing from vendors (both overseas and local) until the materials arrives at the company’s warehouses with the expected quality and quantity. • Observing price changes of materials to determine when and how much to purchase. • Ensuring overseas and local transportation costs at the optimal point. • Provide consultation to departments and external parties on procurement issues. • Calculating costs for new products. • Monitor reorder points and alert departments on low inventories • Prepare and provide document to accounting team of adjustment for purchasing part. • Prepare proper documentation of purchasing part (PRF, PO, etc.) • Other tasks assigned by Supervisor/Manager
