I. Core Responsibilities - Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identifying and contacting potential customers through cold calling, networking, and online research. - Sales Presentations: Delivering tailored demonstrations and pitches to explain product features, benefits, and value propositions. - Negotiation & Closing: Handling objections and negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts to finalize sales. - Relationship Management: Building and maintaining long-term rapport with existing clients to ensure repeat business and satisfaction. - Reporting & CRM Hygiene: Maintaining accurate records of interactions, tracking the sales pipeline, and preparing performance reports for management using CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot. - Market Analysis: Monitoring industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies. II. Key Skills & Qualifications - Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills, including active listening to understand customer pain points. - Resilience: The ability to stay motivated and persistent when facing regular rejection. - Product Knowledge: Deep technical understanding of the company's offerings to address complex client queries. - Self-Motivation: A results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas. - Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and digital sales tools. - Education: Usually requires a High School Diploma for retail; a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is often preferred for corporate roles.
