Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist for installing, maintaining, and supporting computer systems, networks, and other technology within the company. This role ensures that hardware and software are functioning efficiently, provides technical support to staff, and helps improve the company's overall IT system, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to staff related to desktops, laptops, printers, scanners. • Install, configure, and maintain security and data protection hardware and software systems. • Managing user accounts, permissions, and access control • Making sure only authorized users have access to sensitive systems or files. • Disabling access for employees who leave the company or no longer need it. • Assist in setting up and managing IT equipment for meetings or special projects. • Maintain and monitor IT systems, backups, and security protocols. • Keep current with technological trends and make recommendations for improvements. • Participate in IT projects as required, and system rollouts. • Maintaining best practices, including antivirus updates • Conduct regular spot checks on employee devices to ensure that personal email accounts are not accessed and personal documents are not stored on company-owned equipment. • Maintain documentation of support activities, procedures, and known issues. • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and data protection regulations. ________________________________________ Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. • 2–3 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or related role • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office 365 • Knowledge of IT service management • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
