KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Conduct penetration testing for gaming and non-gaming products, covering web admin systems, mobile clients, game servers, and thick clients.
- Analyze potential vulnerabilities such as injections, tampering, API abuse, RBAC and enhance security.
- Collaborate with anti-cheat and secure development teams to assess client-side risks via reverse engineering and code injection detection.
- Assess and enhance the security of critical systems such as in-game payments, APIs, and anti-addiction modules.
- Participate in incident response, including cheat behavior investigation, abnormal account tracking, behavior and traffic.
- Track the latest trends in cheat development, game exploits, and defensive countermeasures; build in-house testing tools.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the internal knowledge base for game security. - Develop Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) for vulnerabilities and simulate real-world attack scenarios
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field;
- 3+ years of penetration testing experience, with at least 1 year in game or related product security;
- Strong understanding of game-specific threats such as memory editing, protocol tampering, cheat injections, and client modification;
- Strong understanding of injections (SQL, URL)
- Hands-on experience with pentesting and reverse engineering tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Frida etc.); - Familiarity with reverse engineering and binary analysis of game clients is a strong plus;
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, C++, JavaScript);
- Solid documentation and cross-functional communication skills;
